A 17-year-old British girl who has eaten at diet consisting mostly of chicken nuggets collapsed and was hospitalized last week after she was struggling to breathe.
Stacey Irvine has been addicted to chicken nuggets since she was two-years-old and has never tasted fresh fruit or vegetables. Her addiction left her was anemia and inflamed veins on her tongue and she was so deficient in vitamins and nutrients that doctors had to give her injections.
Doctors have told Irvine that she has to drastically change her diet or she will die, but she says that she can’t quit the chicken nuggets.
